| In local government terms, Cox Green Parish Council is a relatively new council. It was established in 1989 following a local government reorganisation which saw the new parish created in recognition of the expanding community of Cox Green. Bounded on two sides by motorways, Cox Green evolved separately from the urban conurbation of Maidenhead, therefore a localised form of governance was considered to be a preferable route by local residents. |
